Broccoli Export Seminar

In June, Trade and Investment Queensland held a Broccoli to Japan Seminar at the AUSVEG Convention in Cairns.

Japan is known as a large producer and consumer of broccoli and as such there is an opportunity for Australia to capture a share of the Japanese market for broccoli.

There is significant demand for both fresh and frozen broccoli in Japan, with Japan importing 36,100 MT of fresh broccoli and 34,447 MT of frozen broccoli in 2013.
