FarmReady Subsidy Ends Soon

Growers are reminded that the FarmReady subsidy ends on 31st May, 2012.

If you have been thinking about doing a food safety or environmental course this could be your last opportunity to have your training subsidised this financial year.

Training courses registered with FarmReady are eligible for a 65% subsidy towards the cost of training, up to $1500 per person (per financial year).

It is a great opportunity for growers and their management staff wanting to complete one of the many courses available.

There are well over 100 FarmReady courses registered in Victoria, so there should be something suitable for you and your staff.

Training must be in groups but if you have two or more people on the farm that need to attend, some training can be undertaken on the farm. You need to discuss this with the provider of the course.

Applications for the FarmReady subsidy MUST be lodged at least 5 working days prior to the course and courses must be completed by end of May.

Group training may be conducted at the workplace
