Recognising clubroot is the first step in disease prevention :

  • Examine seedlings trays at random on a regular basis, increasing in frequency over the summer months.
  • Remove 2-3 seedlings from each tray and examine roots for small galls or deformities.
  • Train staff to recognise signs of the disease and report it.
  • A diagnostic test is now available.
