More than 500 delegates attended the 2009 Australian Vegetable Industry Conference in Melbourne, and the 2010 Ausveg National Convention looks set to surpass that and be the largest gathering of growers, researchers and supply-chain representatives from the vegetable industry ever held.

An informative speaker program will feature alongside a trade show, sporting and political figures, a strong social program, kids’ program and the 2010 Ausveg National Awards for Excellence.

The convention will bring together growers, researchers and supply-chain representatives from across the vegetable, fresh and processed potato, organic.hydroponic and Asian vegetable industries.

This year’s program packs more in than ever before and has something to offer all industry stakeholders.

Keynote presentations will feature speakers covering such diverse fields as marketing, product innovation, research and development, and exporting.

The National Awards for Excellence on the Saturday evening will recognise those who have made a significant contribution to the industry.

It will be a night to celebrate the innovative work of growers, researchers and other industry stakeholders.
