Vegetable growers, processors and resellers have the opportunity to inspect the new leafy vegetable varieties and discuss the display and other advances in the marketing of leafy vegetables.

Celebrity chef Geoff Jansz will conduct a cooking demonstration with some of the new varieties. Geoff has developed a new range of recipes featuring local produce such as cheeses, olive oil, vinegars, meats, citrus, apples and wine.

Event organizer Andrew Bulmer (Bulmer Farms) said, “We want to showcase East Gippsland as a prime growing region. It’s good for the region to be recognised for what it produces and great for these events to be held in regional areas at the ‘grass roots’ level.”
