Recognising clubroot is the first step in disease prevention :
- Examine seedlings trays at random on a regular basis, increasing in frequency over the summer months.
- Remove 2-3 seedlings from each tray and examine roots for small galls or deformities.
- Train staff to recognise signs of the disease and report it.
- A diagnostic test is now available.
