Award Winning Advice from Growers

VegNET Gippsland in collaboration with VegNET South East, West & North sponsor the AUSVEG VIC Award for R&D Adoption and this year it was won by Devon Meadow growers, Mark & Darren Schreurs.  To top that off, they went on to win the National Award for Industry Impact.  Learn more here ….

The Wardian Case Legacy

Who knew a simple wood and glass box would play such a complex role in globalisation through the transportation of live plants? These miniature greenhouses brought pleasure to the 3,000 Melbourne people who turned out to greet an English primrose in the 1850s.  They also delivered other unwanted visitors and were later phased out due to the biosecurity issues.

Masterclass at Taylors Lake Hotel
