IDO Returns From USA
Three weeks flew by as my partner & I motored about 5,000kms of California, Arizona, Nevada & Utah. The scale of vegetable production in California and Arizona beggars belief! So too does cultivating one sand dune away from the Pacific Ocean. I found a new love, this oft forgotten brassica – Kohlrabi – is delicious raw or cooked. I saw these at Delta Farmers’ Market, Isleton, California, for $2 each.
